Crowd Accident in Mina Valley, Saudi Arabia during Hajj

On September 24th, 2015, a massive crowd accident occurred near the Jamarat Bridge. News media reports many killed and injured pilgrims. To the best of my knowledge, the accident occurred during the so-called peak-times, during which no pilgrim group is scheduled to perform the ‘stoning-the-devil’ ritual. Confirmed details about the cause of the accident have not been released at his point. The scheduling program of the pilgrim flows towards the Jamarat Bridge have not been within the responsibility of our team in 2015 (for the first time since 2006/2007).

I am deeply saddened by hearing about Hajj accident.  I mourn the victims’ families.
