Recently, I've added a new section named "Data Sets" to this blog. Currently, there are two data sets available.
The first one, "Data on furniture store location in Germany", contains the data used in the illustrative case example of furniture store location in Germany presented in Müller & Haase (2014). The second data set comprises test instances used in Haase & Müller (2014) for a linear reformulation of the maximum capture problem with random utilities (facility location with multinomial logit choice probabilities). Further, this set contains the optimal objective functions values found by CPLEX and the CPU usage in seconds for each instance.
I would very much appreciate any comments on the data, the papers, and further results based on these data.
